My Favorite Web Stuff

I recently discovered PayDotCom, a great alternative to Clickbank. Well, not really so much something I’m going to use instead of Clickbank but in addition to Clickbank, at least with respect to Affiliate Marketing. More products to choose from is always a great thing.

And when it comes to actually SELLING products, that Clickbank Alternative looks even better! If you want to sell on Paydotcom, you’ll have to upgrade to Platinum Status, and yes, there’s a one-time fee, but it’s only $29 (at least for the moment — they say they’ll raise it soon, but of course they all say that so you COULD take your chances with waiting…).

What wil that $29 buy you? Unlimited listings! Yes, that’s right. You can list as many products as you want, for no additional charge! Does that rock or what? You probably know what Clickbank would charge you for that, every single time for every single product! For those of you who don’t, last time I checked it was $49 for EACH product!

Where does PayDotCom make its money? Well, they’ve got to eat and pay their hosting fees, so yes, they charge fees when you sell, but they’re not bad and pretty similar to those you get charged at other venues.

Another big bonus? And, you know, this is the one that first got my attention to be honest:

When your product sells through PayDotCom, YOU get your money right away. ‘Nuff said.

BTW, I’m going to add my updated and upgraded (with workbook!) version of my stress ebook to Paydotcom’s Marketplace to recruit more affiliates. If you sign up, I’ll soon be sending you checks (or PayPal deposits) too.

Yes, my affiliate program is up and running. And yes, you can earn commissions on two tiers. This means that if you refer person B who buys something you’ll get 50% commission, and if person B then becomes an affiliate and sells stuff, you’ll get 10% of the sales price of everything person B sells. How’s that for passive income?

Now I realize that my book isn’t exactly a high priced item, but then again, it’ll be a fairly easy sell. Who doesn’t want to feel better?

You’d think creating a snazzy-looking ebook cover is no biggie, but I have a Mac and it seems that all the ebook cover creation programs are for PCs. Except for one, and the link didn’t work. But I’m working on that one too.

Affiliate Defined?  MORE Affiliate Marketing Secrets? You bet. I’ve bought ebook after ebook on how to do affiliate marketing and I have made a sale or three, but give me a break! I thought I’d be raking in hundreds or even thousands, and instead, I’m making tens and twenties, and not every day either.

So when an internet marketing expert who already has some of the best stuff on traffic sent me to this website I was ever hopeful but also more than a bit skeptical. But it did sound pretty darn intriguing and so I shelled out the cash (last one, I swore to myself), and now I’m eagerly devouring the more than 200 pages long book. And none of that 16 point print either. This thing is stuffed with info!

The wildest thing: the author is a 13-year-old whiz kid internet marketer who has clearly been at it for years. He knows what he’s doing and doesn’t mince words. And his book is written in such clear and straightforward prose, I want to give him an award just for that.

But the content is what truly rocks. I’ll report more when I’ve made more progress, and I’ll soon be reporting the sales too. This book is more real and more info-rich than anything, and I mean ANYTHING, I’ve seen in the 8 months since I’ve started investigating affiliate marketing and related subjects. And I can actually understand what he’s talking about. Without even trying. That’s not what I would say about most of the other stuff. Either the kid is an excellent writer to boot, or he has an excellent ghost writer.

So if you have ANY interest in affiliate marketing at all, you owe it to yourself to check out David’s Affiliate Defined. I think you’ll like it as much as I do.
