Tiffany Lambert Video Blogging Challenge Review And Bonus

Tiffany Lambert Video Blogging Challenge Review BonusTiffany Lambert just started her new Video Blogging Challenge. Actually, it’s a “mini challenge” – unlike her normal challenges it will only continue for 2 weeks, and the price tag is “mini” too! In this Video Blogging Challenge Review and Bonus article I’d like to tell you more about what it’s like to be inside of the challenge and how I have already benefitted.

And, of course, I’m going to give you a bonus if you sign up through my link. More about the bonus later though. Let’s get started with the Blogging Challenge.

Why I signed up for Tiffany Lambert’s Video Blogging Challenge

I signed up for the challenge because I am kind of a video virgin. I’m intimidated by all things video, both the part about having my face out there and the technical part.

But I’ve decided to change all that. I realized that I’m losing out in a big way by not doing video. Just the other week, I was participating in a Facebook Engagement Challenge, and wouldn’t you know it… it included a task involving video, and I couldn’t even do it because I didn’t have the technology lined up.

And then, I bought an outstanding training on affiliate marketing, and, well, that too was focused around video. And as I watched the whole thing, I learned so much that I felt really upset about not being able to do it.

So when Tiffany announced that she’d do the video blogging challenge, I decided to sign up. Yes, I would have to figure out how to deal with the tech stuff, but I was willing to do what I had to to make it work.

By the way, I asked Tiff before I signed up whether she would help us with our technical challenges, and she said NO. There were just too many variables with all of our different equipment that this was not going to be part of the training. So I knew I was going to be on my own.

But since I decided to do it anyway, I had made a commitment to do what it took.  And so…

What happened on Day One of Tiffany’s Video Blogging Challenge

I was in, and kind of excited and nervous. But I also had a weekend, plus I had bought a web cam that I hadn’t even hooked up yet. So I realized I just had to bite the bullet and connected it. Then I followed some instructions I found online, and, gosh, darn it, it worked!

The next thing I knew, I was happily recording videos!

So let’s just say, Tiff managed to do something that a lot of others have failed to do. Got me motivated enough to actually get over this HUGE stumbling block.

I then sent her my video, and she gave me very encouraging feedback, plus a couple of great tips that will help me make my next one even better. Woo Hoo!

Come and join me! Just click here to find out more!

I’m now ready for day two!

What’s inside Tiffany’s Video Blogging Challenge

Basically, you’ll find a protected blog post for each day. You will need a password to access it (and also need to enter it for the video). So yes, there’s some text and a video, plus lots and lots of comments.

Tiff goes through all the comments and provides detailed answers and feedback.

She does that on all her challenges, and I’ve done a bunch of them with her, so I know how the routine works. It’s like a coaching program, but without the big price tag.

The Video Blogging Challenge Bonus

Here’s what I as a bonus: Since Tiff is placing most of the focus on the video part, I decided to provide a special additional training on the blogging portion, including how to get it set up and with lots of tips on how to get the most mileage from it.

Just Click HERE to get your Video Blogging Challenge AND Bonus!

You’ll get the link for the download page right on the same page where you can access Tiffany’s training.

Blogging For Money – Special Deal For Christmas

money treeHave you been reading about blogging for money and are wondering how to go about it? Sure, you can set up a blog very quickly, and spend some time typing up your posts, maybe even daily. But blogging for money involves a lot more than that.

If you just do the basics, very little is likely to happen. Depending on your subject and whether you tell people about your blog, you may get a few visitors, or you may not get any.

But even IF you get visitors, you may not make money, unless you know how to properly monetize your blog.

How To Build A Blog That Makes Money

So how DO you build a blog that makes money. And I mean not just any money, but a solid passive income that keeps arriving in your PayPal or bank account for years to come?

That’s quite a bit harder. In fact, you need to spend quite a bit of quality time planning and researching your blog before you even buy the domain name for it. Didn’t expect that now, did you?

But it’s the truth. And that’s why I love Kevin Riley’s BlogPreneur Training. He lays it all out for you. And not only that, he also teaches you how to do the actual blogging so you’ll earn a real passive income.

Free Special Report On Blogging For A Passive Income

I have two things for you today. A Special Report by Kevin on how to blog for a passive income. He lays out the principles, and has a cool illustration about what exactly passive income really means…

You can get it right here:

Inside the special report, you’ll find not just helpful information but also a link to a deeply discounted special deal for Kevin’s blogging course…

Except, it’s no longer available.

BUT: I’ve found something else for you: Marlon Sanders’ WP Dashboard!

It’s an excellent step-by-step training and will help you create a blog that’s designed to make you money.

Blog Defense – How To Protect Your Blog From Getting Hacked

virusghostieDo you have a blog? If you do, you need to protect it too.

But what if you just have an itty bitty little blog? Who would want to hack it?

Unfortunately, you may get a nasty surprise! There are oodles of hacker bots out there, scouring the web, looking for blogs to invade. Should you protect yours?

Well, I’ve got a question for you:

Would you be upset if your blog were destroyed?

Would you be upset if your blog were to be corrupted and it turned into some spam factory that would spew spam all over the internet (and yes, there could be legal consequences if that were to happen to your blog!).

If you don’t care either way, I guess you won’t have to do anything. But I suspect you wouldn’t like either of these things one bit.

And, of course, if you have spent weeks and months building your blog, writing content for it, and attracting an audience, you would definitely not want to lose the fruits of your hard work.

And if you have a BIG blog, you don’t want to lose it either, right?

So….

Blog Defense – Why It’s Important

Yes, blog defense is an important part of blogging. There are lots of things you can do to protect your blog, but most of them leave lots of holes for the bad guys to get through. So you really need to do things right.

Sure, you can create a safe password, and I highly recommend that.

You can also add a plugin that limits login attempts. I highly recommend that as well.

Next, you’ll want to make sure you keep your blog updated. This is a no-brainer.

And finally, you should back up your blog regularly.

And how do you do that? There’s a very cool plugin that allows you to literally clone your blog. And if anything should ever happen to your blog, whether it’s a hack attack or whether you just tried to upgrade it and it broke, you can get it back! Yay!

I learned that the hard way when my blog disappeared. Actually much later, after recreating it from scratch from Google cache, and spending literally weeks to make it halfway as good as it was before I lost it – I figured out what happened…

I had somehow managed to drag the blog’s folder into some other folder in my hosting account, and I could not find it anywhere anymore. Grrrr.

So where can you get the blog cloning plugin? Here:

But if you really want to protect your blog, I recommend getting a complete system, like this one, which is an excellent one, and very reasonably priced, at least right now…

Marlon Sanders’ WP Dashboard For Leads And Sales: A Review

Marlon Sanders WordPress DashboardMarlon Sanders’ WP (WordPress) Dashboard is finally available. Months ago, he offered some of us a pilot version to test out and provide feedback on, and I was lucky enough to get one. I provided a lengthy list of feedback, and the new version is terrific.

Is Marlon Sanders’ WP Dashboard for you?

It is, if you want to build a blog, and want to make sure you didn’t miss anything crucial.

First of all, it’s perfect for beginners. If I had had access to this, it would have saved me thousands of dollars over the last several years! I remember paying someone twice several hundred dollars to teach me what’s basically in the first row or two of Marlon’s dashboard.

Only, that person’s teachings weren’t remotely as clear – i sweated bullets trying to make it all work. I was able to build my first blog or two, but now, that I know so much more, I build them in a small fraction of the time.

What else?

If you have any ambition to gather leads and make sales with your blog, you will find Marlon’s WP Dashboard very helpful.

Is It Helpful For Advanced WP Users?

I would say that it is, at least for many of them. It definitely is for me.

One of the disadvantages is also an advantage. Sure, I already know most of the info that’s in the first few rows. In fact, just looking at the icons, I found that I was familiar with a lot of what’s in there. But…

A lot of it is in the details. Marlon shares secret tricks and how-to sequences for things I do NOT necessarily know how to do. And since I already know the majority, I can zoom right ahead to get the new (to me) stuff and incorporate it into my blogs.

I’m looking forward to digging through his suggested plugins, and how to use video effectively, and his tips on the ethical bribe, and lots more.

The Bonuses Are Golden!

And then there are the bonuses… Yowza! They are worth a multiple of the price. Also, this is a dashboard that helps you set up a WordPress site. It doesn’t go too much into how to get traffic, though if you set it up right, you’re quite a ways ahead of the game when it comes to the traffic issue.

And of course, as you may know, Marlon has a Traffic Dashboard, so it’s not necessarily in his best interest to go overboard with sharing traffic tricks.

BUT…

In his bonuses, there’s a ton of incredibly valuable information on Traffic! It complements his dashboard perfectly.

I’m not entirely sure how long the bonuses will be available, but knowing Marlon, even if the fancy ones go away, there’ll be others added later, so there’ll be a bonus one way or another, and it will be helpful.

I’ll have to dig around in it more thoroughly, but I wanted to let you know about Marlon Sanders’ WordPress Dashboard right away so won’t miss out on the bonuses!

My Own Additional Bonuses!

In order to encourage you to invest in Marlon’s WP Dashboard, I’m offering some of my own bonuses in addition to Marlon’s bonuses. I bet you have a few questions, and I’ll answer them for you:

What are my WP Dashboard Bonuses?

The bonuses I’m offering may vary over time. However, if you sign up early, you will get my current bonuses AND any potential replacement bonuses I might offer within the 30 days.

But if you sign up later, you’ll only get the bonuses available at that time. So signing up earlier is better. So here are the current bonuses:

1) Social Media For Business Course

As I mentioned above, this Dashboard falls a bit short in the traffic area. In part, that makes sense because there’s a whole other dashboard just for traffic.

But if you want to get a headstart, you’ll appreciate this Social Media For Business Course. It’s delivered over a period of 4 weeks (with maybe a bonus week thrown in), and it comes with detailed instructions PLUS worksheets/assignments.

2) Pinterest for Business

The benefit of this bonus is similar to the first one – only this one will focus on Pinterest, a wildly powerful social media platform that works quite well with a blog.

3) TWO Coaching Q & A Calls

I have long offered a Blogging course, and I am just about to run another round. And YOU will get access to TWO of my own Get Started With WordPress Blogging Q&A and Coaching Calls, which will give you the opportunity to get your questions answered and make the most of your new Dashboard.

How Will You Get My Bonuses?

Here’s how you’ll get your bonuses. It’s a simple 5-step process:

Step 1: Purchase the WP Dashboard through the link above.

CLICK HERE to Get Your Dashboard!

Step 2: Send an email to the following email address:

CLICK HERE to Claim Your Bonuses!

Step 3: Include “Dashboard Bonus” in the subject line.

Step 4: Look for an email from me to you with further instructions.

Step 5: Enjoy your bonuses

My Favorite Web Stuff Is Back! Why I LOVE the Internet!

I can’t believe it’s been more than a MONTH since I last posted here.  Oh dear!

So I was out of the country.  Overseas.  Down under.  Way on the other side of the world.  And I still got my email, and I still kept up with SOME things, but not all of them.

There was the conference, and the gorgeous bayview from the place where I stayed.  And the flu.  🙁

The amazing thing though, was that if I had stayed on top of things, nobody would have been the wiser as to where I was.  And that’s the message in Tim Ferriss’s 4-hour work week, one of my favorite books.

And that’s also my goal for later.  I did learn a lesson though.  It does take quite a bit more to do that (the keeping up thing) than I had expected. And boy is it easy to get side-tracked.

I knew I had neglected things a bit, but whoa!  When I looked at my blogs, I realized that I hadn’t posted anything for more than a month on ANY of them.

So here’s my post 😉

And a little word about internet cafes.  God bless them.  I’m in San Francisco right now.  Tomorrow, I’ll fly back to Virginia.  And right now, I’m in this cool coffee place (Progressive Grounds” on Cortland Ave/St? at Bernal Heights).  Those things are great.

Earlier today, I was at another one, called Muddy Waters, (I think on 30th St.) and then there’s another one on Mission nearby that’s really cool (also includes an art gallery) that I will have to spend some quality time in next time.

BTW, that one is located right between TWO Thai restaurants, one of which is called Pad Thai (sp?) and is outstanding!  The other one has an excellent duck pineapple dish.  And right in the middle — the internet cafe.

In Wellington, I had internet access where I was staying, but there was a limit on the amount of data I could transmit, so I felt guilty every time I was downloading something.  During the conference, I was able to use the university’s wireless, but then I was hunting around for an internet cafe, and didn’t find one till I almost left (it’s along the #18 busline, at the main drag of Newtown, but I don’t remember the details.  Next time…

Now I’m thinking… is there a website that lists all the internet cafe’s in the US or the world?  Probably.  Gotta find it.  And if there isn’t……….

Another reason why I love the internet?  Connecting with people I haven’t talked to in years and years.  Just connected with an old pal from grad school.  And the person I visited in NZ was an old friend whom I met when I was still (believe it or not!) in high school!  But we had lost touch, had each moved a lot and changed continents, and yet, the internet made it possible for us to connect again.  Cool!

And when I now look at how much being online has become part of my life, I’m just amazed.  I used to gripe about it, and now it’s such an integral part of my life that I feel the need to scout around for internet cafes!  Funny, isn’t it.

Anyway, more soon.  And yes, I’m definitely back, and will post regularly. I’ve got quite a new favorite web things to write about.

Meanwhile, have a fabulous day!

Elisabeth
