You’d like to make a full-time income from your online work, and one of the key ingredients is building a money-making funnel system. And you want to build it easily and quickly. In this post, and few follow-up posts, I’ll show you how to make that happen!
This is part one, in which I will help you to get started by putting some of the basic ingredients in place.
In order to build a successful money making funnel, you need a few things in place. First of all, you need to decide on the niche you want to go after. Next, you’ll need a domain name that will attract your market – and a web host.
You’ll also need some kind of autoresponder so people can actually sign up for the list. And you’ll need something that will inspire them to do so. You’ll also have to add some messages into your autoresponder system. And that’s just the beginning. So let’s get started…
1) Decide On Your Niche
Before you get going on your funnel, you need to decide who you want inside your funnel. You need a niche – and preferably one that will bring you lots of prospects who are willing and able to buy the stuff you plan to promote later.
So don’t go after a market that has no money, and don’t go after a market that’s not in the habit of buying stuff. It also helps if you get into a market that you’re personally interested in because in order to make this work, you’ll need to really engage with your prospects, leads, or customers.
Just as an aside, there are ways to actually purchase complete done-for-you niche funnels, for example from Tiffany Lambert. And if you catch them early, you get them at a rock bottom price – and you’ll have all the ingredients served up to you on a silver platter.

2) Get A Keyword Rich Domain Name For Your Niche
The first thing you’ll need is a domain name, preferably one that will get the attention of your niche audience. This means that it should include keyword they’re likely to search for.

Just search for names including your chosen keywords, and buy the best .com name you can find.

3) Get Web Hosting
If you don’t have web hosting already, I highly recommend my favorite web host, which I’ve been using from the very start! Be sure to get the BABY account, and for an extra discount, use the coupon code “hosting711” without the quotes.

4) Get an Autoresponder Service
The next thing you need to build your funnel is an autoresponder system. Do not even think of sending your messages from your own domain name. And don’t use a free one either. I know Mailchimp can be tempting, but they can shut you down fast. Doing affiliate marketing through Mailchimp is against their terms of service. Don’t risk it.
So what should you use?
I recommend one of these two options:
1) Just the autoresponder service
If you go with option 1, you’ll get to start out for less money.
Just know that you will have to pay more as soon as your list grows. But hopefully, you’ll be making money too, so that will be okay.

2) An autoresponder that is integrated with your shopping cart
If you’re planning to create and sell products (or services), you could use a shopping cart system that will integrate seamlessly with your autoresponder.
However, you will also need to consider whether you’ll eventually want to integrate your sales with your list. If you do, you may want to consider the integrated version. It can even be upgraded to include a full-fledged affiliate program and upsell systems.

5) Putting it together… and building your squeeze page
Now that you have a domain name, hosting, and an autoresponder, you can build your squeeze page. This is the page where people can join your “list.”
First, set up your blog. You can either create a squeeze page on your blog or set up a separate HTML page. Either way, you’ll need 3 ingredients:
1) An enticing offer (a free special report or something else people would like)
2) An enticing headline
3) The code from your autoresponder
First, you’ll need to offer your future subscribers something of value. Usually, it’ll be a special report, or a resource guide, or something else they’ll find useful.
Where can you get that?
You COULD write it yourself. And that’s not a bad idea, especially if you can write well and have a knack for marketing/selling. But there’s another option:
