Kevin Riley’s “Commission Stealth Bombs” Review Part 3: Setting Up The Stealth Bombs

Please Share 🙂

Commission Stealth BombsWelcome to part 3 of my serial applied review of Kevin Riley’s “Commission Stealth Bombs”: Setting Up The Stealth Bombs!

All the stealth bombs Kevin Riley provides would do you no good if they just sit on your hard drive. Of course that’s no news! We all have stuff sitting on the hard drive that could make us money.

Well most of us, I should say, and with “us” I mean those in internet marketing who buy products in hopes of making money online. I suppose there might be some super disciplined people out there who actually implement everything they buy, but I have yet to meet them.

That’s not counting a few of my favorite mentors – and I suspect they may have a few skeletons in their closet too…

Anyway, most of the time, the problem is that something is missing or unclear, and so people simply get stuck. This is why I have picked this particular product to review – in the sales page video it ways that it requires no previous knowledge, no experience, and no special skills.

Really? We shall see.

So let’s unpack the box…

Once you click on the button to the package you chose, you’ll go to the download page for your materials.

First, there’s your Rebrander. You need to download that to a folder on your PC.

What if you have a Mac?

Aaargh! I do have a Mac, and it won’t do .exe programs. But you know what, I finally broke down and got a PC laptop just so I could use stuff like that. If you have a Mac and are not running Parallels or something, I recommend you consider the same. A used PC is all you need, or one of the back-to-school specials they’re runnung right now. You don’t need anything fancy.

And how do you get the files back and forth? I myself use either Dropbox or a flash drive to move things back and forth. Sometimes I send them to myself through Gmail so I can download them anywhere I need them. Sure, it’s a bit of a pain, but I don’t have to do it too often.

Now back to the download area, where you’ll find the pre-selling report package, which you can download and then unzip.

What’s in the Affiliate Stealth Bombs Pre-Selling Package?

1) A READ-FIRST document

This document gives you instructions on the affiliate program and how to apply if it’s something other than the regular ones listed along the sidebar.

2) The rebrandable report

Note that the rebrandable report comes in two versions – one that you can rebrand with your regular affiliate link OR one you can rebrand with a domain name you redirect your affiliate link to. I would suggest you use the latter version if at all possible.

If you subscribe to the Basic Stealth package, that’s it. Just take that report and follow Kevin’s instructions for distribution.

However, I would highly recommend to get the Enhanced Stealth package though because it also contains the following:

3) A Squeeze Page Package

This contains a squeeze page as well as a thank you page (and also a confirmation page for everyone who uses double opt-in confirmation with their Autoresponder service). It also includes the graphics.

4) Autoresponder Emails

Finally, there are 7 follow-up emails that continue to pre-sell the product while providing tips and information.

If you’d have to create those things yourself, it’ll take you several hours, and that’s if you’re a copywriter and good at html and can create the squeeze page from scratch. If copywriting is not your thing, or you struggle with html, you’d have to hire it out, and 7 follow-up emails alone can cost you hundreds!

The “Enhanced” upgrade goes for just an extra $10/month – for TWO packages! It was a total no-brainer for me! And I AM a copywriter!

Setting up my Commission Stealth Bombs

Here’s where the rubber hits the road. Okay, that’s a cliche, but it’s so true.

How do you get the whole Commission Stealth Bombs system to work?

There’s no guessing here. Kevin walks you through the entire process, with a combination of videos and detailed and illustrated guides, right there in the membership area.

a) Preliminaries

Kevin starts with one-time preparations, which I did when I downloaded and set up my first Stealth Bomb. These include upgrading PayPal so you can get commission payments if you haven’t done so already.

He also gets you to sign up as an affiliate with the key affiliate programs he uses. The current “bomb” uses a different one, so he provides the instructions in the READ FIRST guide.

b) Rebranding the report

Kevin walks you through rebranding the report, which is a very simple process. Just remember that the rebrander is a Windows software… And be sure to rebrand the RIGHT report – one of them is for your basic affililate link, and the other one is for your own redirect domain.

c) Setting up Squeeze Page and Emails

Kevin provides very detailed instructions on how to set up the squeeze page and the emails. Basically, if you are starting from scratch, you’ll find that this section will get you set up for a complete business.

It’s fantastic, and I wish I had had this system back when I got started. It would have gotten me off the ground MUCH faster and saved me lots of headaches and false starts.

d) Distributing the Report

That’s the key to the whole system. It’s a multi-module section that helps you get your pre-sell report out there. This can work all by itself, but if you can get people to sign up for your list first, you’ll get so much mileage out of it, which is why I recommend you get the enhanced version.

Taking Action

The first thing I do when I get a new report is to buy two suitable domain names at Godaddy. Then, I set up the redirect for one of them right there in my account. The other one will be the domain with the squeeze page so I point the name to my nameserver.

Don’t know what that means? Kevin explains it all.

Next, I rebrand my report – with the domain name I redirected to my affiliate link! Thanks, Kevin, for providing that option!

Next, I set up my mailing list in my autoresponder system, get the code for the opt-in form, and add it to the squeeze page code. Again, this is explained in detail.

And then, I just load everything up to my hosting account. Yes, you’ll need to get a web hosting service for the squeeze page, which is really not very costly and which you should have anyway. The Hostgator Baby account will accommodate several years’ worth of Kevin’s Stealth Bombs – or all kinds of other websites you may want to build – for less than 10 bucks a month!

And yes, be sure to get the BABY account! Not hatchling! This is important!

Next, I edit the autoresponder emails to add the download link and the affiliate link, plus my name at the bottom of each email, and copy and paste them into my autoresponder system.

The last step is testing everything, and yes, it’s working, and ready for action.

If you worked really quickly, you may have to wait a bit until the domain name has propagated properly, but I’ve never had problems with that. Godaddy says it can take up to 24 hours, but usually it works within the hour.

What Happens Next?

So once it’s set up, it’s time to get the word out. And Kevin has a whole range of powerful strategies that help with that. I just set up my new list yesterday, and I have subscribers already. This will accelerate over the next days and weeks as I follow Kevin’s instructions. I’ll keep you posted.

My Verdict So Far

My verdict so far? A VERY comprehensive system, with outstanding and very detailed explanations for getting everything set up, which makes it easy to use.

In addition, the parts are designed to be very easy to set up to begin with, so if you can follow simple instructions, you’ll be able to do it. It also doesn’t take long. I generally have my sites up and running the same day I got them, and that includes the time I spend deciding on what domain names I want. The actual setup takes me less than an hour, start to finish. Including setting up the emails and everything.

The first few times may take you a bit longer, because you have to read all the instructions and watch videos, as needed, but then you’re learning some valuable skills in the process. So be patient.

And since I get two of the stealth bomb packages each month, I’m building a nice portfolio of list building minisites. I think that’s very cool. And definitely worth the investment.

The Big Question: Will It Make Me Money?

Of course, the proof is in the pudding. Will I be able to sell any affiliate products to make real money? And if so, how many?

Kevin was EXTREMELY optimistic in his sales video. My results have been a lot more modest so far, but then I haven’t done everything Kevin recommends in terms of getting my report out.

This time, I will do that. That’s the whole idea of these applied, serial review series. I will do what the instructions say and report the results.

Stay tuned 😉
