Directory of Ezines: A Review
The Directory of Ezines is a resource I really wish I had found a whole lot sooner. How so?
It is exactly what its title says, and it’s also a whole lot more. It’s a searchable database of ezines — ezines that send their mailings to thousands of readers. Can you imagine the potential if you send them a really enticing ad?
You may have a list already, and so this might not be as crucial to you. But if you don’t, this can be worth its weight in gold. Heck, even if you do have a list it would be a great resource.
And that’s not all. I wanted to join a while ago, but at the time, I would have joined as a 1-year member. I’m glad I waited and joined as a lifetime member because the perks are so worth it!
We get access to unlimited classified ads we can post on the site itself. We get to post 3 banner ads on their site. We get to post up to 50 articles in the DOE article directory! With resource boxes of course.
And we get a wealth of information, including ebooks and teleseminars. And I think there’s some other stuff too.
Best of all, though, we get Charlie Page, the owner of DOE! He answers questions by email, and if you’re lucky, even by phone. He has call-in times two days a week, where lifetime members can call him up and ask away. How cool is that!
So what kind of ezines are in there?
All sorts. Lots on marketing and internet marketing. But many others as well, including on personal growth and health. And the ads are surprisingly reasonably priced (mostly).
But here’s the biggest perk: Many of the publications actually accept articles, so you can offer to send them articles — or just send them, and when they publish them, they might actually be even MORE effective than ads.
As I said, I wish I had joined right long ago. If you would like to check it out, here’s the link:
