Can Twitter Grow Your Sales? You Better Believe It! Check This Out:

October 9th, 2008

You use Twitter, right? After all, it’s the hottest marketing tool on the planet.

But don’t you sometimes feel that it can be frustrating, confusing and a huge time-waster if you don’t know what you’re doing? I have to admit, I’m guilty as charged… and tweeting, not to mention keeping up with everybody else’s tweets, can be positively addictive.

But if it’s used correctly, it can drive traffic to your website and even generate sales, sometimes in a matter of just a few seconds.

But how? Fortunately, my friend, Joan Stewart, The Publicity Hound, is hosting a teleseminar series Oct. 13 and 14 called “How to to Use Twitter to Amass an Army of Followers, Customers & Valuable Contacts–and Promote.” You better believe I’ll be there!

On Day 1, you’ll learn the basics of Twitter and time-saving tips. On Day 2, you’ll learn specific strategies on to promote any product, service, cause or issue.

But what if you’re too busy? No problem! If you have a scheduling conflict, register anyway because you’ll get a copy of the MP3 audios and the electronic transcripts to review at your leisure.

Seating is limited to 100 people, so register today at http://www.allthetrafficyouwant.com and learn all about how you too can turn Twitter into a great source of traffic — and sales.

Like they used to say at the radio station where I was a deejay way back when I was in college: Be there or be square ;-)

See you on Twitter later ;-) Tweet me at http://www.twitter.com/ElisabethKuhn

How To Get Traffic (and Links) To Your Website? Three Power Techniques

September 30th, 2008

It’s kind of funny — usually traffic is something we would prefer less of.  But when it comes to your websites, blogs, and other online offerings, it’s the more the merrier.

But how do you get traffic?  There are so many different ways, it’s sometimes hard to know where to start.  Maybe you’ve been working your fingers to stubs on the keyboard and still… the results aren’t always what we wish they were, especially once we consider all the work we’ve put into it.

Here are three power strategies on how to go about building that traffic the smart way along with resources that can help:

1)  Links bring traffic, and they help with Google rankings.  They help people find you out in the wild and wooly world of the World Wide Web, two ways: If people come across a link, they click on it, and presto: there’s your site. And ifyou have lots of links, Google will take notice and believe that your site is important, and it will start giving it higher and higher priority when it comes on where it’ll show up in search results. And the result of that: You knew it. Even more visitors.

So how do you get links?  You can build them yourself — a slow and tedious process. Or you could take an accelerated path: Check out this FREE e-training on linking to help you speed up your link building learning curve, activities and results.

2)  Too much work to build it all yourself?  Wish you had some help?  You can, and it’s not expensive at all (or rather, it doesn’t HAVE to be expensive).  Learn about how to get help with your traffic building projects right here, and yes, there’s some FREE e-training available as well.

3)  If you have heard about viral marketing — the ultimate in getting the word out about you — but never quite knew how to go about it, discover how it works right here — and yes, there’s also a freebie available.

Just don’t sign up for all of it at once, or all the free stuff will clutter up your inbox ;-)

Between the three — link building, i.e., getting more links that will bring visitors to your site both directly and by way of Google once the links have started to propel you up to the front pages of Google, outsourcing some of the grunt work so you can spend your own time on more valuable activities that only YOU can do, and viral marketing — the ultimate power tool, you’ll find that your traffic can increase substantially in a very short time.

And last but not least — if you don’t have a blog yet, you’re REALLY leaving money on the table.

In another blog post, I’ll tell you about Mike Paetzold’s WordPress Lessons (they’ll open again to a small but select audience). What makes Mike special is that he’s a total expert on how to set up your blog to optimize it for traffic, and he shares all his secrets right there on the webinars.

I’ll write more about him in an extra blog, but if you can’t wait, you can find Mike’s WordPress Lessons Here.

“Licensed to Quit Your Job” — Amazing Online Business System — Great Reliable Money Maker, And Easy Too!

September 11th, 2008

I just came across a book that just impressed the socks off me: Licensed to Quit your Job.

Now I did it backwards, and it was high time I found this book…

I printed it out immediately last night and read the whole thing, and I’m starting to work on it right away.  Its authors, Sara and Tony explain everything step-by-step in language I can actually understand, and the whole system makes a lot of sense. And they’ve been using it to make a nice reliable income.

Look for the resulting products right here and just about everywhere else really soon (we’re talking a week or so).

Thanks go to Travis, the ultimate bum marketer and creator of the Bum Marketing System, who alerted me to it in one of his informative emails ;-)

The embarrassing thing — that particular email had been sitting in my inbox since about January, and I just found it because I went back over all of his emails looking for some sort of enlightenment.  And hello…  There it was.

And here it is:

This is one product that’s worth every penny! What’s the deal with the worn paper thing? That’s what it used to be written on as Sara followed it step by step over and over until the paper almost fell apart. So then they wrote the book ;-)

It’s way cool!

So go get that worn paper that could be YOUR license to quit that day job too.

Article Marketing: My Favorite Ezine Article Directories and Article Submission Strategies

September 7th, 2008

If you’re serious about article marketing, you probably wonder where best to submit your articles to give them the most advantageous distribution.  Which one is my favorite ezine articles directory?  You get three guesses.

Yes, I know you knew that one:  http://www.ezinearticles.com ;-)

But which one do you think is my next favorite one?  For efficiency in submission and having my article widely distributed, iSnare is really hard to beat.

In terms of numbers/views, it is very close to ezinearticles.com, plus it sends out articles to hundreds of other places.  Where’s the catch?  It costs money.  But not much.  Prices start at $2/article and go down from there when you order multiple articles.  Unless you write articles in bulk, this is not a prohibitive price.

I know that some article marketers, including my favorite article guru recommend submitting LOTS of articles, and in that case, I suppose it can really add up.  But you don’t have to submit ALL your articles to iSnare either.  Be selective…

For example, consider picking one or two more from one of the other top-ten lists if you like and experiment.  Be sure to read everybody’s guidelines and follow them to the letter.

And then there are niche sites…  And what I’d suggest is this:  Go find out which niche article sites there are in your niche, read their guidelines, and start submitting some articles there as well.

Good luck!

August 29th, 2008

Hey, check out my new Ezine Articles Updates Gizmo: The fancy new ezinearticles.com widget.

Okay, so my articles are not all about web stuff, but quite a few of them are, and the other ones are mostly on self-help stuff (see my other blog). And there’ll be more on writing and grammar as I get closer to launching Grammarnaire and Writernaire!

I got a few good ones on list building and on promotion, and you can find ALL of them by going straight to Elisabeth’s articles ;-)

Meanwhile, here’s the widget:

Outsourcing Squidoo, Web Design, Link Building, etc.

August 21st, 2008

Not enough hours in the day. Where to start? I can’t keep up with all my squidoo lenses and my hub page(s)(?) and so on. What to do?

Well, outsourcing of course. And since I just deleted my entire blog post by mistake when I tried to cut and past to replace a bad link, I have to start all over.

Anyway, there’s Tiffany Dow and her Squidoo lens building service, which I think I’m going to give a shot.

You can find it at Tiffany’s Lens Design site.

And here’s a banner too:

I’m also going to get help with the link building thing and with posting my rss feed in all those directories…
We shall see how this works. I start realizing that I’m more enamoured with staying in control than I thought I was (no that’s not true — I KNOW I like to make sure things get done right, not that the way I do them always works — see the links)

Anyway, now that I have the proper links here, do take another look.

And have a great day!

Marlon’s Promo Dashboard Finally Available, and Guess What! I’m On The Sales Page!!! For Real!

August 12th, 2008

The Promo Dashboard is finally out. Marlon Sanders has done it again! It looks GREAT (no surprise here — I love all his other dashboards too).

But here the thing that was a HUGE surprise:

When I looked at the sales page, I almost spilled my coffee:

I was on it. As a testimonial! Wow! I feel so honored!

Marlon is my all-time favorite internet marketer and you may remember that I was really excited to have had the chance to meet him and chat with him at UnSeminar 5 in San Antonio only about a couple of weeks or so ago.

So please go take a look:

Please Click Here: Promo Dashboard

I just bought it, and have had a VERY quick look, and it looks great. I’ll take a closer look once I’ve written emails to all my friends and family about my picture appearing on Marlon’s sales page, and then I’ll write a review.

So if you’d like to know more detail, please come back here a little later. Of course, you may want to get your very own (be among the very first) before Marlon runs out of the first print run ;-)

BTW, here’s a cool (REALLY COOL!) surprise opportunity. If you buy the dashboard, you’ll get a chance to get into Marlon’s inner circle with twice a month interactive phone calls for a ridiculously low price ($1 for two weeks, and after that it’s still as real steal!).

I practically left skidmarks as I lurched for my credit card to get in on this one. No idea if he limits this opportunity to only so many members, but I wasn’t going to take any chances.

Promo Dashboard

Anyway, I’m going to write more later. For now, I have to tell everybody about the news of the day, and then go play with my shiny new promo dashboard ;-)

Have an amazing day!

Elisabeth

Web Stuff Blog Speaker: I’m Studying with World Champions of Public Speaking As I Type This ;-)

August 10th, 2008

Look for Web Stuff Speaking info soon. I’m planning to expand my activities from online to offline. Right now, I’m just taking a three day “Get Paid To Speak By Next Week” Boot Camp (oh, excuse me, it’s a Champ Camp).

That’s because the THREE teachers are all world champions of public speaking. Darren LaCroix (2001), Craig Valentine (1999), and Ed Tate (2000) all won the Toastmasters World Championship in Public Speaking. And they’re GOOD!

And they’re teaching us all kinds of useful stuff. PLUS we get to leave here with product in hand! So I have something to sell from the back of the room!

What product: A CD with great speaking tips from the three champions and yours truly! Yup. We just did it right here. Look for it in the VERY near future.

And later today, they’re going to show us how to do videos and put them on YouTube. That’s something I definitely want to learn how to do.

And my stress book? I think I’m going to create a hard copy and an audio (and a workbook) from that too. So I can better help people regain their inner calm when they get stressed out over all the requirements of the web stuff in their lives, that technology or social marketing.

Instant Membership Site Update: 7 Steps to a Solid Monthly Internet Income

August 8th, 2008

(Guest article by Terry Telford:)

Did you know that there are literally thousands of ways to make
money online?

One of the most solid business models to ensure a continual
monthly income is a subscription based membership website.

Members pay a monthly fee for access to a private memberís
area where they can access your information. You can provide
a variety of information in as many formats as you choose.
You can offer articles, reports, audios, videos,
teleseminars, downloads, software, almost anything you can
imagine.

Even if you offer a low cost membership, it only takes a
few members to make a comfortable income. A membership
website that charges $9.97 a month, only needs 300 members
to generate $3,000 every month.

And setting up a membership website has become remarkably
simple with advances in software that can be set up in a
couple hours, even by the average non-technical person.

But while it’s just that simple, once you’ve figured things out,
in the beginning, it takes some time
and energy to put the whole project together. But then it’s
simply a matter of updating, maintaining and marketing. So
let’s look at the steps to put together a successful
membership website.

Step 1
Choose a market. This is critical. You should look for a
market youíre going to enjoy working in as well as a market
people spend money in. People spend money where they are
passionate. Markets like sports, pets, business, and hobbies
all make hot markets to launch a membership website

Step 2
Test the market. Visit forums and chat rooms and ask people
if they know of any good websites that offer up-to-date
information.

Step 3
Use your research from Step 2 to develop a rough outline of
what your website will offer your members

Step 4
Write a sales letter and have the graphics professionally
designed. If you canít do this yourself, hire a freelancer
from elance.com or guru.com

Step 5
Set up the membership software to run the site.

Step 6
Populate the site with your content

Step 7
Market your site and let the cash flow begin.

7 simple steps and youíve got a membership website that
will generate a solid monthly cash flow for you. Each step
takes some effort and energy, but you can have your first
membership website completely set up and running in less
than a month. Then you can repeat the process as many times
as you like to increase your membership portfolio and your
monthly income.

URGENT UPDATE

Here’s great news: for 7 days, you can bypass the whole
membership website creation process.

Now you can get your complete membership website,
ready to upload to your server today. You can have a fully
functional membership website ready to take orders in the
next 2 hours. It’s only available for 7 days (or until they
sell out, so make sure you visit today.

Instant Membership Site? Terry Telford Says You Bet! But Only If You Hurry!

August 7th, 2008

Want a membership site? How about an instant membership site where almost everything is created FOR you? Except that you can customize it any way you want?

Sounds too good to be true? Depends on who’s offering it. This one is the creation of Terry Telford and Edwin Ryan. I know Terry Telford — met him at the Las Vegas Conference (Masters Seminar organized by Ross Goldberg), and Terry is not only a really nice guy, but he’s also brilliant!

So when I saw this offer, it was irresistable. And it’ll be gone in a flash.

They say it’ll be available for only 7 days — BUT there’s a second part: or until sold out, and I would bet that it will sell out WAY before the 7 days are up.

I knew I had to have one and so I immediately jumped on it. So look for invitations to join MY membership site shortly
